Talking and Smiling

Kinley loves to lay under her playgym and talk to the monkey at the top. 

Two Months Old

It's hard to believe that Kinley is already two months old. Here is what is going on:

• Weighs 10 lbs, 9 oz. - 35 percentile
• Is 21 3/4 inches long - 25 percentile 
• Sleeps in the nap nanny, swaddled
• Eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours during the day 
• Goes to be around 9, gets up at 2 to eat and gets up at 7 for the day
• Still naps after every feeding
• Smiles a lot in the mornings and when she is getting her diaper changed
• Loves to take a bath
• Likes to sit in the bumbo seat and look around
• Swinging is her favorite thing to do. She sits in her swing and looks at the mobile all the time.
• Started tummy time and seems to like it - most of the time she falls asleep
• Wears size 1 diapers
• Wears 0-3 month clothes

We went to eat at Dos Margaritas last week. Kinley was great while we were there. She had a little staring contest with the horse on the booth and then fell asleep! 

At the doctor for her check up, she got four vaccines - one orally and three shots. She cried for a few seconds, but calmed down quickly once we picked her up. They gave her some really cool Scooby Doo bandaids for her legs. 

Grandma Ruby Visit

Today, I took Kinley to visit Grandma Ruby. Ruby was very surprised to see us when we walked in the cafeteria. She loved holding Kinley and talking about how cute she is. We had a great visit!

Newborn Pictures

We had Kinley's newborn pictures taken when she was only 5 days old. I wanted to wait until her birth announcements were sent before posting the images. It was too hard to pick favorites, so I am posting them all!

Stroller rides

I took Kinley on a stroller ride one morning last week and she loved it. We thought it may calm her down last night, but as you can tell in the last video that did not work!

Smiling

Kinley is smiling big time now! You have to work to get a smile out of her and she only will do it in the mornings!

All the smiling made her sleepy!

Big Momma and Pappaw's House

Kinley and I went to Big Momma and Pappaw's house for a few days last week. She did fantastic in the car both ways. She looked around in her car seat and slept in the car. The only time she cried in the car was when I turned the radio down to talk on the phone!

Morgan brought over Emily's old swing for Kinley to borrow.

Lily, Emily and Layne came for a visit.

 Mary Lloyd, Mary Ann, Jamie, Mary Peyton and Piper also came. 

Kinley started smiling when we were there. Big Momma got the first big smile!!

We spent all day Saturday outside. Kinley got to try out her swimsuit that Mrs. Tina bought her.

Mary Benton fell over and got a little mad!

Pappaw spent most of the day throwing Kelly, Riley and Wynn into the "river."

 Mary Benton and Emily had a good time playing with the ball and fighting over a cell phone.

By the afternoon, Kinley was over it!

So we went inside for a little nap.

On Monday, Allison and I took the kids to Jonesboro. Loretta came to the mall to play with Wynn and love on Kinley during her lunch break.
